Abbey Walker

I consider myself a contemporary jeweller exploring how material connects with the body through imagination and play. Working primarily in sterling silver and 9ct gold, I like to create playful, sculptural pieces that blur the line between art and wearable design.

My practice is driven by experimentation and storytelling, transforming jewellery into small-scale sculptures that challenge traditional ideas of adornment. I am drawn to bold, expressive forms for wearers who embrace individuality and unconventional style.

Through exploring unusual forms and unique constructions, I question what jewellery is and where its boundaries sit—both materially and practically. Encouraging curiosity, imagination, and a rethinking of how jewellery can exist on and beyond the body.

This piece draws on my experience in Vietnam, shaped by the surrounding architecture and bold, intricate patterns. Titled “Bao Nhiêu Tiền?!”, it reflects the recent volatility of metal prices.
