Alana Rojas

My work is deeply formed by my cultural heritage, shaped by my parents' journey as immigrants from Serbia and Chile. My brand name, Lanac the Serbian word for "chain" is a deliberate homage to my lineage. Much like the interlocking links of a chain, it draws a parallel to DNA: an invisible thread that connects us all, regardless of where we are from. This concept of connection and individuality lies at the heart of my practice. Each piece l create is distinct, reflecting the uniqueness of human idendity, while remaining part of a larger, shared story. Through my work, I seek to embody this balance across form and material.
